Teams of six. One guide per two climbers above the last camp. Read the numbers before you read the prose.

The classic circuit — then off it, up the arête the trekkers photograph.

Sixty degrees of fluted ice. The most beautiful mountain does not care.

Cold, committing, direct. The rib is the honest way up the mountain.
Route profile · Annapurna Circuit Plus
Forty-two kilometres of walking earn nine hundred metres of climbing. The profile below is the actual acclimatisation ladder — camps where the bodies said so, not the brochure.
Two nights at every camp above 4,900 m. Slow is a strategy, not a compromise.
Summit window opens 03:40. Turn-around is 11:00, and it is not negotiable.
Descent to Camp I the same day. Sleep low. The mountain keeps the change.
The rope
Every Apex lead guide holds the full IFMGA carnet. Certifications open the door; the numbers below are why you follow them through it.
IFMGA · Norwegian Mountain Guide Assoc. · Lead guide, Himalaya
Reads snowpack the way other people read weather apps. Called the 2023 Manaslu retreat four hours before the serac went.
IFMGA · UIAGM Aspirant Examiner · Lead guide, Andes
Has climbed the Southwest Face in every condition it offers. Ties the same knot at 5,900 m that he ties at the trailhead.
IFMGA · Nepal National Mountain Guide Assoc. · Expedition leader
Grew up at 3,800 m in the Khumbu. Carries the weather in his knees and has never once been wrong about the wind.
Ethos · Safety
“The mountain decides the schedule.
We decide everything else.”
